NHS procurement

Understand the brief.
Respect the process.

Public-sector procurement requires more than a product enquiry. The specification, purchasing route, delivery requirements and supporting evidence all need to be understood within the buyer’s process.

PharmaGlobe welcomes enquiries from NHS organisations, public clinics and other public-sector healthcare purchasers about potential pharmaceutical supply and procurement opportunities. This is an invitation to discuss requirements; it does not imply an existing NHS contract, a framework appointment or NHS endorsement. Any participation or supply would be subject to the buyer’s procurement process, applicable authorisations and agreed terms.

Useful answers

Before you
get in touch.

Is PharmaGlobe currently an appointed NHS framework supplier?

No framework appointment or NHS contract is represented on this website. Please request current company and authorisation information when assessing any proposed procurement relationship.

How do we share a tender opportunity?

Contact the trade team with the organisation name, opportunity reference, deadline and access instructions for the relevant procurement documents.

Can you discuss requirements before a formal tender?

You can contact us to discuss a requirement, where this is permitted by your organisation’s procurement process. Such discussions do not constitute a supply commitment or contract.

What information is useful in a procurement brief?

Share the product schedule, expected quantities, delivery sites, contract period, required documentation and evaluation timetable. Include the procurement reference and any instructions governing supplier communications.

Can a requirement cover more than one NHS site?

A brief can cover multiple sites. Provide the purchasing authority, participating organisations, destination schedule and any separate delivery or invoicing requirements so the scope can be understood.

Does an enquiry establish a contractual commitment?

No. A discussion or submission does not create a supply contract. Any participation, award and subsequent supply must follow the relevant procurement process and agreed contractual terms.
